Radom is characterised by a share of the youth in the city's population structure which is remarkably higher than the average values for the country and the Mazovieckie Province. The number of people in the pre-productive age in Radom in 2009 counted 40,790 and the number of productive-age people totalled to 145,391. The above data shows that Radom is in the process of rejuvenation of its population.
